Believe it or not, the idea of a tent like dwelling device like a Coleman Canopy goes back many years. For thousands of years, a lot of people have lived a nomadic life style. Once, during his travels, he was fascinated by a lamp he saw in a store that burned gasoline instead of kerosine. The gas lamps burned brighter and did not smoke like the kerosine lanterns did. A few years later Mr. Coleman was selling the lamps across the country.
